Movie Must Watch : KHUDA KE LIYE [Apr. 14th, 2008|10:05 am]

This movie is a must watch the performances are superb... I did go for watchin Naseerudin Shah ( :) coz thats the only actor in the film i knew).
Though he was in it for just a mere 15 mins but his acting was superb as expected...
The movies music is just too good. I have always had a flay for Pakistani Music... Just waiting to hold of the Audio CD.......

The only dissapointment has been the Theatre which was SHALIMAR Theatre.
The only theatre showing the movie.
There were table fans put at impracticle distances so I had to get rather close to beat the heat. So sound of the fan marred the even bad sound quality.. but the movie was so good that it just didnt make me feel the pain...

Dont think the movie would continue very long but If you have a chance do watch it...

Ratings : 4/5

Sorrow state of Cricket.......... [May. 9th, 2007|11:44 am]

[mood | annoyed]

Earlier a gentleman's game ........ changed to a game that was spoken to be binding borders that have been terror torn for over a decade now..... and now the game lays is dismay........
Change is good but if it was this change then it would never be wished........

News cropping up of the teams state under Chappel. Its been a complete blame game and the BCCI hasnt got out of it. We see the media today having no better news to cover loosing its morality and discussing on players concentrating on Advertisements conducting a new poll nearly everyday. Leaving behind focus on important issues and concentrating on lameless cricketing stories.
Just relating these to the news that came up yesterday in Aaj Tak supposedly India's No. 1 News channel not for me though. Talks claiming Chappels attitude and Ganguly's and Tendulkar's strive for the captaincy. Tendulkar!!! What do i say for him I have been his fan all time. I would never take up news stating him to be striving for captaincy and stuff like that. There have been hue's and cries over Tendulkars contribution towards the teams performance in the past one year. Where as Sehwag who was to be removed for his performance from the team before the world cup now enjoys a comfortable position in the team without any performance. Its just that the misery to who is questioning the Little Masters ability.
There have been stories of Adam Gilchrist's unethical ways.. Ohh give me a break. Its just irresponsible media and its not just the media to be lamenting. Its We who are to be blamed I suppose. Writing this coz i feel there are stories of cricketers and their endorsement and questioning their ability towards the game. I feel endorsements have no role to play as for as the sport is concerned.. Would like your comments coming in......

(no subject) [Jul. 10th, 2006|02:17 pm]
Recently I read a review on the Digests survey about Mumbai being the most impolite or rudest city ... The survey was based on a 3 point note saying that Do people keep dorrs open allowing others to enter and the other was was when you drop some papers in public do people help you in picking them up and thirdly it was do people say thank you after collecting their bills at counters or sum thing like dat..
Reading an interstly article as a response to this survey I am mentioning breifly some aspects as they are really worth noting..

On the first point of ppl not keeping doors open to let others in ... It is that at many shops and malls or hotels in Mumbai we have Darbans.. who are there to open doors so why should one keep doors open for others..

Secondly when you drop papers as many ppl in Mumbai drop them to get rid of them so how shud one take it as a person is dosposing it off or wat...

Thirsly of people saying thank you it is customary that people acknowledge it by a shake of the head and thats wat it says all I does not have to be with the words Thank you...

How can Mumbai be called the rudest city where if you reach late to the railway stn and you train is on the move ppl from packed compartments lend you out a hand to accomodate you in even though they aint any space cause they just know the importance of everyone reaching on time in office irrespective of his caste creed or any other biasing...

How can mumbai be called rude where if four people are sitting on a train seat meant for three and when the fifth person is standing near they shift to make place for the fifith person with a smile...

Big Thing.............. [Jun. 30th, 2006|03:10 pm]
A horse and a chicken are playing in a meadow. The horse falls into a mud hole and is sinking.
He calls to the chicken to go and get the farmer to help pull him out to safety.

The chicken runs to the farmer but the farmer can't be found.

So he drives the farmer's BMW 328i back to the mud hole and ties some rope around the bumper.

He then throws the other end of the rope to his friend, the horse, and drives forward saving him from sinking.

A few days later, the chicken and the horse were playing in the meadow again.

This time the chicken fell in the mud hole. The chicken yelled to the horse to go and get some help from the farmer.

The horse said, "I think I can stand over the hole."
So he stretched over the width of the hole and said "grab my 'thing' and pull yourself up.

And the chicken did and pulled himself to safety.

The moral of the story:

"If you have a "Thing" like a horse, you don't need a BMW 328i to pick up chicks."

Really hilarious [Jun. 26th, 2006|09:15 am]

[mood | cheerful]

A new Army Captain was assigned to an army infantry in a remote post of the
desert. During his first inspection, he noticed a camel standing up behind
the mess tent.

He asked the First Sergeant why the camel is kept there. "Well Sir," was
the nervous reply, "As you know, there are 250 men here and no women. And
Sir, sometimes the men have u..u..m-m-m.... urges!.That 's why we have the
camel, Sir."

The Captain said, "I can't say that I condone this, but I understand about
urges, so the camel can stay."

About a month later, the Captain started having a real problem with his own
urges. Crazy with passion, he asked the First Sergeant to bring the camel
to his tent.

Putting a stool behind the camel, the Captain stood on it, and had the most
wild, insane activity (read s**) with the camel.

When he was done, he asked the First Sergeant, "Is that how the other men
do it?"

"Uh, No Sir," the First Sergeant replied. "They usually just ride the camel
into the town where the girls are." :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)
